These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of National Building Inspection (NBI®) Illinois services. By scheduling an inspection or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with changes becoming effective upon posting to our website.
- NBI<sup>®</sup> Illinois provides professional building inspection services for commercial and residential properties
- Services include property condition assessments, environmental testing, and specialty inspections
- All inspections are conducted by certified and licensed professionals
- Reports are delivered with fast turnaround of inspection completion
- Services are available throughout Illinois and surrounding areas
- Services must be paid for in advance or as agreed upon in writing
- Cancellations require 24-hour notice for full refund
- Inspection appointments are subject to weather conditions and property access
- Client must provide safe access to all areas requiring inspection
- Additional fees may apply for after-hours or weekend appointments
- Inspections are visual assessments and may not detect hidden defects
- We are not responsible for defects that become apparent after inspection
- Reports are for the client's use and may not be transferred without permission
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party information
- Liability is limited to the cost of the inspection service
- Provide accurate property information and access requirements
- Ensure utilities are operational for comprehensive inspection
- Disclose known property issues or previous inspections
- Review and acknowledge receipt of inspection reports
- Contact us with questions within 30 days of report delivery
- Payment is due upon scheduling or as specified in service agreement
- Accepted payment methods: credit card, check, or bank transfer
- Late payments may result in service delays or additional fees
- Rescheduling requires 24-hour notice to avoid cancellation fees
- Emergency services may incur additional charges
Intellectual Property
All inspection reports, photographs, and documentation remain the property of NBI® Illinois and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of DuPage County, Illinois.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
